I completed my BS and MS (dual) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2019 with my masters specialization in mechanical systems design. Previously, I did my research in the field of railway vehicle dynamics for my masters thesis. My current research is focused on Gradient Index Phononic Crystal (GRIN-PC) lenses for guided wave amplification in non-planar structures. My broad area of interest is in dynamics and vibrations, wave propagation, metamaterials and smart structures. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, play cricket, and read novels.

I received my BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in China. As a MS student I did research on vibro-acoustic analysis of structures. My current research is focused on designing elastic metasurfaces to control the low frequency wavefront. In my free time, I like swimming, listening to music, and playing electronic keyboard.

I received my BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University and got a MS degree in Robotics Institute from the University of Michigan. My previous research focused on the dynamics of the legged robot. My research interest includes analysis and design of system dynamics. In my spare time, I like to exercise, watch movies, and go hiking.

I completed my MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore,
in 2020. In my master’s, my research focus was predicting the buckling-dominated behavior
of thin elastic ribbons. After finishing my MS, I joined Rolls-Royce, where my role was to
manage engineering safety issues of the aircraft engines and contribute to safety research. My
current research interest lies in dynamics and vibrations, the mechanical behavior of materials at
multiple scales, wave propagation through elastic bodies, and metamaterials. In my spare time,
I enjoy reading books (about Physics, Neuroscience, Evolutionary Biology, and Economics),
watching movies, and trying various street foods.

I received my B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech in 2019. Upon graduation,
I worked as a Product Engineer at Volvo Group where I was responsible for suspension
systems, drivelines, and chassis structure. My research interests are in the fields of dynamical
systems, metamaterials, and control theory. I enjoy sports (soccer and Formula1 in particular),
reading, hiking, and eating food!
